Question: The LCD in my dashboard is not functioning, can this be repaired?
Answer:
A faulty LCD can be caused by 2 different problems.
Cause
1. The LCD itself is defective (sometimes recognized by black spots or cracks in LCD).
2. Components in the dashboard that control the LCD are defective.
Solution
1. Broken LCD's cannot be repaired. Unfortunately we are unably to supply new LCD's. If the LCD itself is broken you can look for a second (used) similar dashboard.
We can use the LCD of the second dashboard and replace the broken LCD. Or we can copy the data of your broken dashboard, and program this in the second one.
2. Defective components can usually be replaced, we are most likely to repair your dashboard.
